PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de l'acide ursodésoxycholique qui consiste essentiellement à traiter l'acide 3.alpha., 7.beta., 12a-trihydroxycholanique par un agent d'acylation, à oxyder le produit 12.alpha.-hydroxy obtenu, à le saponifier et enfin à le réduire.
