ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a process for reducing the caking of technical alkali metal chlorides and alkali metal chloride-containing technical salt mixtures and for maintaining the fluidity during storage, which comprises producing a permanent moisture of at least 0.01% by weight of H2O in the salt by adding an anticaking agent comprising at least one hydro- philic and hydrophobic substance alone in combination with a complex iron cyanide on a carrier substance containing hydroxyl groups.
