ABSTRACT Milbemycin derivatives having a halogen atom or an ester group at the 13-position are prepared by reducing the corresponding 13-substituted-5-ketomilbemycin derivatives. The milbemycin derivatives as prepared have superb insecticidal, acaricidal and anthelmintic activities.
