A process for producing 2-cyano-3,3-diary acrylic acid esters of general formula (I) in which R1 and R2 are hydrogen, C1-C12 alkoxy groups or di-(C1-C4 alkyl) amino groups and R3 is a C4-C18 alkyl group which may be interrupted by oxygen atoms in the ether function, by the reaction of benzophenonimine of general formula (II) with a cyanic acid ester of general formula (III), in which the reaction is conducted at 20 to 60 ~C and the ammonia released is continuously removed from the reaction mixture with the aid of a stream of gas or by reducing the pressure to 900 to 100mbar.

Procédé de préparation de 2-cyan-3,3-diarylacrylates de la formule générale (I), où R?1¿ et R?2¿ représentent hydrogène, des groupes alkyle C¿1?-C¿12?, des groupes alkoxy C¿1?-C¿12? ou des groupes amino di-(alkyle C¿1?-C¿4?) et où R?3¿ représente un groupe alkyle C¿4?-C¿18? pouvant être interrompu par des atomes d'oxygène de la fonction éther par la réaction d'une benzophénonimine de la formule générale (II), avec un ester cyanacétique de la formule générale (III). La réaction est réalisée entre 20 et 60 ·C et on élimine, en permamence, du mélange de réaction l'ammoniac libéré à l'aide d'un flux de gaz ou en ramenant la pression à une valeur située entre 900 et 100 mbar.
