ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a process for producing a combination of two hormones or preparations which are known per se, i.e., HCG and Gn-RH, for the stimulation and release of ovulation in domestic and pet animals or fish in the field of application of animal production. The preparations are mixed in a preferably isotonic medium using as the units of measure for HCG the international unit according to the DDR standard for chorion gonadotropine at the time of the invention and for Gn-RH microgram of the preparation of the DDR present at the time of the invention. The preparation can be used for the biotechnical and/or therapeutical stimulation or release of ovulation in female domestic animals, for example, pigs, sheep, cattle, fish and animal pets, for example, cats, dogs, zoo animals, pet fish, when these animals are in the stage of pre-rut, rut or readiness to spawn.
