The invention relates to a process for producing a new type of high-quality hydrocarbon base oil of biological origin. The process of the invention comprises ketonisation, hydrodeoxygenation, and isomerization steps. Fatty acids and/or fatty acid esters based on a biological raw material are preferably used as the feedstock.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de synthèse d'un nouveau type d'huile de base hydrocarbonée de haute qualité d'origine biologique. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend des étapes de cétonisation, d~hydrodésoxygénation et d'isomérisation. Les acides gras et/ou les esters d'acides gras basés sur des produits de départ biologiques sont préférentiellement utilisés en tant que produits de départ.
