A process for producing a landfill from a specified landfill site is disclosed. In the first step of this process, leachate from the landfill site is collected. Thereafter a specified shredded material is contacted with the leachate to age it, the horizontal permeability of the aged shredded material is then tested with a specified permeability tester; if the test is successful, the shredded material is used in the landfill and covered with waste material.

L'invention porte sur un procédé d'épandage contrôlé. Dans la première étape du procédé, on recueille le lixiviat d'un site d'enfouissement donné. On met ensuite en contact un matériau broyé spécifique avec le lixiviat pour le faire maturer; la perméabilité horizontale du matériau broyé maturé est ensuite mesurée à l'aide d'un perméabilimètre spécifié; si la mesure est concluante, le matériau broyé est utilisé sur le site d'enfouissement et recouvert de résidus.
