The invention relates to a process for producing a screen printing form from a gridlike screen web with a coating consisting of an emulsion, in particular of a light-sensitive emulsion. A screen web is partially provided with at least one coating section which comprises a plurality of separately applied coating regions. The emulsion is preferably applied in coating strips of a defined width which are adjacent and parallel, by at least one nozzle.
