ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed in this invention is a process for producing a abrasion-resistant transparent part according to which a transparent film having a hard coated surface layer formed with a siloxane-based or polyfunctional acrylate-based abrasion-resistant hard coating agent is disposed between a male mold and a female mold; then clamping is started and a molten thermoplastic transparent resin is supplied in between the male mold and the female mold when the clearance between the male mold and the female mold is C + 7 to C + 0.1 mm in a state where the clamping motion was stopped temporarily or the clamping speed was reduced to 30 mm/sec or less; and then the male and female molds are clamped to perform molding. In the course of laminating and molding, there takes place no thermal deformation of the transparent film, and high-efficiency production of abrasion-resistant transparent parts is made possible.
