An extrusion-coated metal article is produced by: (A) applying a mixture which comprises an organosilane composition, to a surface of a metal article, and (B) coating an extruded melt of a polyamide molding composition to the surface thus treated and dried. The coated article may be used as a tube in an automobile, for example.
