ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Immobilized enzyme compositions are described These compositions are prepared from microorganisms which produce both enzyme and adsorption-inhibiting polysaccharide A crude enzyme preparation is obtained from the microorganism culture, the polysaccharide is removed from the enzyme preparation and then the resultant, purified enzyme prepara- tion is contacted with an absorptive carrier to immobilize the enzyme.
