ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide is prepared by reacting the azeotrope of methylmorpholine and water with an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide. The reaction solution product is thereupon concentrated to the desired content in N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide. The resulting solution has a high purity of the N-oxide and the process is simple.
