The invention relates to a process for producing arabino-nucleosides of general formula (I), in which X is a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom, from triacetates of general formula (II), in which X has the meaning given above and the groups Ac are acetyl groups, in which an esterase or lipase is caused to act on these compounds.
