A process for producing a binder resin for a toner comprising the steps of (1) mixing a substantially solventless resin (A) and an emulsion of a resin (B) different from resin (A) with stirring and (2) evaporating water from the mixture of resin (A) and the emulsion of resin (B) simultaneously with or after the step (1) to obtain a substantially solventless resin composition.

Procédé pour fabriquer une résine pour lier une poudre imprimante comportant les étapes suivantes : 1) mélangeage d'une résine sans solvant (A) et d'une émulsion de résine (B) différente de la résine mentionnée en (A) suivi d'un brassage et, 2) évaporation de l'eau contenue dans le mélange de résine (A) et de l'émulsion de résine (B) effectuée pendant ou après l'étape (1) afin d'obtenir une composition de résine pratiquement sans solvant.
