The present invention provides novel biolatex conjugate compositions and methods of production and use thereof. The novel biolatex conjugate compositions comprise a biopolymer-additive complex (prepared by co-extruding a biopolymer feedstock, at least one performance-enhancing additive, and at least one plasticizer under shear forces) reacted with a crosslinking agent under shear forces. The biolatex conjugate compositions exhibit enhanced performance properties for coated paper, paperboard, and other applications using extremely low levels of performance-enhancing additives.
La présente invention concerne de nouvelles compositions de conjugué de biolatex et leurs procédé de fabrication et dutilisation. Les nouvelles compositions de conjugué de biolatex comprennent un complexe biopolymère-additif (préparé par co-extrusion dune matière première biopolymère, dau moins un additif améliorant les performances et dau moins un plastifiant sous des forces de cisaillement) mis en réaction avec un agent de réticulation sous des forces de cisaillement. Les compositions de conjugué de biolatex présentent des propriétés de performances améliorées pour le papier couché, le carton et dautres applications, et utilisent des niveaux extrêmement bas dadditifs améliorant les performances.
