The invention is concerned with a process for the production of cellulose fibres, said process comprising the following steps: (A) dissolving a cellulose-containing material in an aqueous, tertiary amine-oxide to obtain a spinnable cellulose solution; (B) spinning said cellulose solution and passing it through an aqueous precipitation bath, whereby water- containing, swollen filaments are obtained; (C) squeezing said water-containing, swollen filaments at various points, so that at least two squeezing points per millimeter of filament length on average are achieved and (D) drying said squeezed filaments to cellulose fibres, wherein squeezing is carried out using a pressure big enough so that said squeezing points produced on the filament are preserved also on the dried fibre and may be seen as colour variations when observed under linearly polarized light.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de fibres de cellulose comportant les étapes suivantes: (A) dissolution d'un matériau contenant de la cellulose dans un oxyde d'amine tertiaire aqueux pour obtenir une solution cellulosique textile filable; (B) filage de la solution cellulosique et passage dans un bain de régénération aqueux, ce qui permet d'obtenir des filaments contenant de l'eau et gonflés; (C) écrasement des filaments contenant de l'eau et gonflés en différents endroits de manière à obtenir en moyenne deux points d'écrasement par millimètre sur la longueur du filament; (D) séchage des filaments écrasés pour donner des fibres cellulosiques. L'écrasement est effectué sous l'effet d'une pression suffisante pour que les points d'écrasement produits sur le filament soient conservés même sur les fibres sèches et soient repérables sous une lumière polarisée linéairement sous la forme d'une modification de couleur.
