PROCESS FOR PRODUCING COLOR IMAGES Abstract Color images are prepared by: 1) treating an imagewise exposed photosensitive element comprising a nondiffusible redox dye releaser, such as a p-sulfonamidoaniline or p-sulfonamidophenol which is alkali- cleavable upon oxidation to release a diffusible dye such as an azo dye, with processing composition to form an imagewise distribution of diffusible, bleachable dye which diffuses out of the element, 2) bleaching to decolorize any imagewise released dye which has not diffused out of the element, and 3) removing the metallic silver and silver halide. - 1 -
