A process for producing intermetallic titanium aluminide alloy components is described. In the process, a plurality of plate-like bodies of intermetallic titanium aluminide alloy is provided. The plate-like bodies are rough-contoured and stacked together. Surface-to-surface joints are formed between the plate-like bodies to form an overall body. The overall body is solid and is formed into the desired final shape of the component.
On décrit un procédé pour produire des composantes en alliage d'aluminure de titane intermétallique. Selon ce procédé, on peut obtenir une série de morceaux en alliage d'aluminure de titane intermétallique ressemblant à des plaques. Les morceaux en forme de plaques aux contours grossiers sont empilés. Des joints sont formés entre les morceaux, ce qui génère une pièce globale. La pièce globale est solide et on la façonne afin de lui donner la forme désirée pour la composante finale.
