Process for producing a copolyester of desired quality at low cost with high productivity, preferably a process for producing P(3HB-co-3HH) of 4 mol% or more 3HH content with a productivity as high as 40 g/L or more. In particular, a process for producing a copolyester of 3HB and 3HH comprising culturing a microorganism with the use of, as a carbon source, a fat or oil containing lauric acid as a constituent fatty acid under such conditions that phosphorus as a source of nutrition is limited.
L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire un copolyester de la qualité voulue à moindre coût et à productivité élevée, de préférence un procédé permettant de produire P(3HB-co-3HH) d'au moins 4 mol % de teneur de 3HH avec une productivité égale ou supérieure à 40 g/L. En particulier, l'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un copolyester de 3HB et 3HH consistant à cultiver un micro-organisme avec utilisation, comme source de carbone, d'une graisse ou d'une huile contenant, comme acide gras constitutif, de l'acide laurique dans des conditions qui limitent le phosphore comme source nutritionnelle.
