ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a process for producing cyanuric chloride in liquid and solid form from the reaction mix- ture obtained after the trimerization of cyanogen chloride, in which in order to recover the cyanuric chloride in a liquid and solid form, the reaction gas mixture is injected into a combined apparatus comprising substantially a separating column and a con- denser connected in series therewith, said mixture being injected into said apparatus, the bottom of the separating column being kept at the boiling temperature of the cyanuric chloride, where- upon the cyanuric chloride contained in the reaction gas mixture is partially condensed in the temperature range from 146 to 190°C depending on the temperature selected at the outlet of the conden- ser, whereupon in order to obtain the liquid form, the liquid cyanuric chloride is drawn off as such at the lower end of the separating column while the residual gas leaving the condenser and still containing cyanuric chloride, the content of cyanuric chloride in the residual gas corresponding to the temperature selected at the outlet of the condenser is fed to a separating chamber in order to obtain the solid form and the residual cyanuric chloride being recovered in said separating chamber.
