ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Plant materials such as petals, leaves, fruits, are gathered, dried at a minimum temperature of 70°C, and pulverized so as to produce light-fast, lustrous dyestuffs. Subsequently, an acid or base substance is added. It is preferred that a pH value that corresponds to the pH value of the plant materials when fresh is set. A binding agent can be added subsequently.
