The process for producing fibre preforms for composite material components according to the present invention makes it possible to directly produce complex geometries in a flexible and low-cost manner by applying a plurality of dry fibre rovings independently of one another even in spatially uneven contours. It is no longer necessary to use cut fabric strips since fibre preforms are produced straight from the dry fibre rovings. This obviates the need to carry out production, transport and order picking processes. It is not necessary to cut fibre strips to size, and therefore a saving may be made on material. In addition, it is possible to increase the mechanical characteristic values in the composite material because it is not necessary to sew fibre webs. The described process can also readily be scaled since the number of dry fibre rovings arranged next to one another make it possible to vary the area which can be covered. In addition, it is advantageous that the dry fibre rovings are fixed directly in the process.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'ébauches en fibres pour des composants en matériau composite et qui, selon la présente invention, permet de réaliser directement de manière souple et économique des géométries complexes même avec des contours spatiaux non plans, en appliquant indépendamment les unes des autres plusieurs mèches de fibres sèches. L'utilisation de rubans découpés dans du tissu n'est plus nécessaire, parce que les ébauches de fibres peuvent être réalisées directement à partir des mèches de fibres sèches. Cela permet d'éliminer des opérations de production, de transport et de préparation des expéditions. Il ne faut pas découper des rubans de fibres, ce qui permet d'économiser de la matière. En outre, les valeurs mécaniques caractéristiques du matériau composite peuvent être augmentées parce qu'il ne faut pas coudre des nappes de fibres. Le procédé décrit est en outre bien échelonnable, parce que par l'intermédiaire du nombre des mèches de fibres sèches disposées les unes à côté des autres, on peut faire varier la surface qu'elles occupent. Un autre élément avantageux est que les mèches de fibres sèches sont fixées directement au cours du processus.
