The invention relates to a process for producing foamed articles, especially foamed articles for upholstering car seats. Said foamed articles comprises at least an adhesive closing part (1) having adhesive elements (2) which are incorporated into the foaming mold (4) generating the foamed article and which are covered by a foam- protecting cover (3). The adhesive closing part (1) itself constitutes the cover (3). A lateral cover (5) of the adhesive closing part whose width can be chosen overlaps the surface area on which the adhesive elements are arranged and is releasably attached to the foaming mold (4) by means of a fixing device (6). This design simplifies the foaming process and keeps production costs low.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un élément expansé, notamment un élément de rembourrage expansé pour un siège de véhicule. Cet élément expansé est pourvu d'au moins un élément de fermeture adhésive (1) comportant des éléments adhésifs (2) qui sont placés dans un moule de moussage (4) produisant l'élément expansé et qui sont recouverts par un élément de recouvrement (3) empêchant la pénétration de la mousse. L'invention vise à simplifier le procédé de moussage, et par conséquent à maintenir les coûts de production à un faible niveau. A cet effet, l'élément de recouvrement (3) est lui-même formé par l'élément de fermeture adhésive (1). De plus, un élément marginal de recouvrement (5) de ce dernier, de largeur prédéterminable, est placé de manière à faire saillie au-dessus de la zone superficielle. En outre, l'élément de fermeture adhésive (1) est mis en contact libérable avec le moule de moussage (4) au moyen d'un dispositif de maintien (6).
