ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Tetrasubstituted ureas, in which at least one substi- tuent represents an aryl group directly adjacent to the nitro- gen atom, are very resistant to oxidation in the anthraquinone process for the production of hydrogen peroxide. These ureas can be used as sole solvents or as a component of a solvent mixture.
