A microorganism capable of producing indolemycin and having a tryptophan analog-tolerance; and a process for efficiently producing indolemycin or its salt which comprises culturing this microorganism in a medium and then collecting the indolemycin or its salt thus produced and accumulated in the liquid culture.

Elle se rapporte également à un procédé permettant de produire efficacement de l'indolémycine ou des sels d'indolémycine et consistant à cultiver le micro-organisme dans un milieu de culture puis à recueillir l'indolémycine ou ses sels ainsi produits et accumulés dans le milieu de culture liquide.
