Title of Invention: A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING ANTIBIOTIC SUBSTANCE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Penicillins and cephalosporins are prepared, with advantages from industrial viewpoint, by reacting 6-aminopenicillanic acid or 7-aminocephalosporanic acids with three valency phosphorus compounds to form a protecting group, then reacting the above-obtained product with the reactive deriva- tives of carboxylic acid, and then solvolyzing the product to remove the protective group to form penicillins and cephalosporins, respectively.
