A process is provided for the production of at least one peptide of interest from a biological fluid comprising one or more proteins which contain the amino acid sequence of said peptide, wherein said fluid is contacted with a chromatographic medium to adsorb said protein including the peptide domain, the adsorbed material is hydrolysed to produce said peptide, the medium is washed to remove unbound material, the peptide is desorbed from the chromatographic medium and, optionally, further purified. Preferably, a chromatographic membrane is used and the hydrolysis is preferably carried out enzymatically. Also claimed are peptides, preferably with a biological activity, which are obtainable by the present process.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de production d'au moins un peptide d'intérêt à partir d'un fluide biologique comportant au moins une protéine contenant la séquence d'acide aminé dudit peptide. Selon ce procédé, le fluide est mis en contact avec un milieu chromatographique de façon qu'il absorbe ladite protéine contenant le domaine peptidique; on hydrolyse la matière absorbée de manière à produire ledit peptide; on lave le milieu de manière à extraire toute matière libre, puis on procède à la désorption du peptide à partir du milieu chromatographique et éventuellement aussi à sa purification. De préférence, on utilise une membrane chromatographique et l'on procède à l'hydrolyse par voie enzymatique. L'invention se rapporte également à des peptides, de préférence dotés d'une activité biologique, qu'il est possible de produire selon le procédé ci-dessus.
