Abstract of the Disclosure The invention is directed to a process for producing copper- phosphorus alloys particularly adopted for use as anodes in electro- plating, the process involving forming a slurry of copper powder in an aqueous acid solution capable of giving phosphate ions, drying, consoli- dating and thereafter sintering to reduce the phosphate to phosphorus.
