The present invention relates to a process for producing pure ammonium metallates of the metals W, Mo, V, Cr and Re, in which alkaline metal salt solutions are set at a pH in the range from 5 to 9 by reaction with CO2, said metal salt solutions are produced through an anion exchanger in carbonate form, whereupon the ion exchanger is produced under the metallate form besides the alkaline carbonate solution, the ion exchanger is then washed without alkali and then eluted by means of aqueous ammonia with the formation of ammonium metallate solutions and of the anion exchanger in the OH form, the anion exchanger being converted into the carbonate form by CO2 treatment and recycled.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de métallates d'ammonium purs des métaux W, Mo, V, Cr et Re, selon lequel on ajuste des solutions de sels de métaux alcalins à un pH compris entre 5 et 9 en les faisant réagir avec du CO¿2?. On obtient ces solutions de sels métalliques par l'intermédiaire d'un échangeur d'anions présent sous la forme de carbonate. L'échangeur d'ions est produit sous la forme de métallate en plus de la solution de carbonate alcalin. L'échangeur d'ions est ensuite lavé sans alcali puis élué au moyen d'ammoniaque, avec formation de solutions de métallates d'ammonium et l'échangeur d'anions présent sous la forme OH. L'échangeur d'anions est transformé en carbonate par traitement au CO¿2? et recyclé.
