ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for producing sheets or other shaped articles is disclosed. The process comprises applying a solution or dispersion of a urethane prepolymer having hydrophilic nature in large excess of water optionally containing an inert binder polymer on vegetable particulate materials, shaping the resulting mass, curing and drying the shaped articles.
