Bacteria to produce toxin belonging to RTX toxin family are proliferated in a nutrient enriched medium. A concentrated supernatant of the culture is added with a cationic surface agent to precipitate RTX toxin alone, not containing lipopolysaccharides and then the precipitate is washed by distilled water. Thus, lipopolysaccharides are efficiently removed from RTX toxin and a vaccine for RTX toxin family having high safety is prepared.
