A process for producing a water development printing plate for relief printing, comprising providing a solid plate of photosensitive resin composition comprising at least (a) hydrophilic resin, (b) hydrophobic resin, (c) photopolymerizable unsaturated compound and (d) photopolymerization initiator and subjecting the solid plate to at least the steps of exposure to actinic rays, development and post-exposure. In the process, the post-exposure step is performed in an atmosphere of low oxygen concentration.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de plaque d'impression à développement à l'eau permettant une impression en relief. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à produire une plaque solide à base d'une composition de résine photosensible contenant au moins: a) une résine hydrophile, b) une résine hydrophobe, c) un composé insaturé photopolymérisable et d) un initiateur photopolymérisable; et à soumettre ladite plaque solide à au moins une étape d'exposition à des rayons actiniques, une étape de développement et une étape de post-exposition. Dans ledit procédé, l'étape de post-exposition est réalisée dans un environnement à faible concentration d'oxygène.
