ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Acyl - CoA oxidase is prepared by a process which comprises culturing acyl - CoA oxidase producing microorganisms belonging to genus Macrophomina, genus Cladosporium, genus Aspergillus,genus Monascus,genus Saccharomyces or genus Arthrobacter in a nutrient medium, and isolating the thus formed acyl - CoA oxidase therefrom.
