An object of the invention is to provide a method capable of producing D- glucuronic acid and D-glucuronolactone easily and safely in high yield and at low cost. The invention provides a method for producing glucuronic acid and/or glucuronolactone characterized by oxidizing sucrose to form sucrose carboxylic acid (and a salt thereof) (glucuronyl-fructoside, .beta.-D-fructosyl- (2.fwdarw.1)-.alpha.-D-glucuronic acid and a salt thereof), adding yeast or the like thereto to hydrolyze and assimilate the fructose moiety of the sucrose carboxylic acid (and the salt thereof) and collecting produced glucuronic acid and/or glucuronolactone.
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé permettant de produire de l'acide D-glucuronique et de la D-glucuronolactone facilement et sans danger avec un rendement de production élevé et à faible coût. L'invention concerne un procédé servant à produire de l'acide glucuronique et/ou de la glucuronolactone caractérisé en ce qu'on oxyde du sucrose pour former l'acide carboxylique du sucrose (et un sel de celui-ci) (glucuronylfructoside, acide ß-D-fructosyl-(2.fwdarw.1)-a-D-glucuronique et un sel de celui-ci), on y ajoute une levure ou similaire pour hydrolyser et assimiler l'entité fructose de l'acide carboxylique du sucrose (et du sel de celui-ci) et on recueille l'acide glucuronique et/ou la glucuronolactone ainsi produits.
