A process for producing a living radical polymer characterized in that a vinyl monomer is polymerized with use of a living radical polymerization initiator represented by the formula (1) and a compound represented by the formula (2), and the living radical polymer obtained by the process (see formula 1) wherein R1 is C1-C8 alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl or an aromatic heterocyclic group, R2 and R3 are each a hydrogen atom or C1-C8 alkyl, and R4 is aryl, substituted aryl, an aromatic heterocyclic group, acyl, oxycarbonyl or cyano (R1Te)2 (2) wherein R1 is the same as above.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production de polymères à radicaux libres, caractérisé par la polymérisation d'un monomère vinylique à l'aide d'un initiateur de polymérisation à radicaux libres représenté par la formule générale (1) et d'un composé représenté par la formule générale (2). Elle concerne en outre des polymères à radicaux libres obtenus par le procédé de l'invention. Dans ladite formule (1), R<1> est alkyle C1-8, aryle, aryle substitué ou un groupe hétérocyclique aromatique; R<2> et R<3> sont chacun hydrogène ou alkyle C1-8; et R<4> est aryle, aryle substitué, un groupe hétérocyclique aromatique, acyle, oxycarbonyle ou cyano. Dans ladite formule (2), R<1> est tel que défini dans le mémorandum descriptif.
