TITLE OF THE INVENTION PRODUCTION OF PROPYLENE BLOCK COPOLYMER ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A propylene-ethylene block copolymer is produced by continuous bulk polymerization in which propylene alone is polymerized or propylene and ethylene are copolymerized at the ethylene/propylene reaction rate of 6/94 using propylene as a liquid medium; and subsequently by batch-wise copolym- erization in which propylene and ethylene are copolymerized at the ethylene/propylene reaction rate from 85/15 to 5/95.
