ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Process for realizing modular, underwater, connection for underwater crossing of water stretches, wherein prefabricated modules from different yards, even far from a floodable basin assemblage, and freely floating in a water area in front of the basin, are introduced, one at a time, through an upper door of a flooded basin. Thereafter the basin is emptied, the modules are laid on support saddles which aligned them with the already installed length of practicable connection, then connected to the already installed length. The basin again, is flooded and modules are launched by being butt-pushed by means of a driving system, with them being guided by means of thrust roller units. Specific outfits for carrying out the process are also disclosed.
