The invention relates to a process for rearing bumblebee queens (genus Bombus) by generating a colony with workers in the presence of fertilised eggs and/of larvae, in a room with a controlled climate provided with food, and allowing the colony to grow until bumblebee queens are produced. The process constitutes a significant improvement in bumblebee. The invention also relates to a process for rearing bumblebees (genus Bombus).

Cette invention concerne un procédé d'élevage d'abeilles reines (genus Bombus) consistant à créer une colonie d'ouvrières en présence d'oeufs fertilisés et/ou de larves, ceci dans un espace où le climat est contrôlé et où de la nourriture est disponible. On laisse ensuite la colonie se développer jusqu'à l'apparition d'abeilles reines. Ce procédé apporte une amélioration sensible dans l'élevage d'abeilles. Cette invention concerne également un procédé d'élevage d'abeilles.
