The invention relates to a process for recovering caprolactam from a neutralized rearrangement mixture, which rearrangement mixture comprises a solution of caprolactam in water and a solution of ammonium sulphate in water, by extraction with an organic solvent in a mixer, after which the resulting organic phase is separated from the aqueous phase in a separator and caprolactam is recovered from the organic phase, the organic solvent being dispersed in the neutralized rearrangement mixture in the mixer.

L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet d'extraire le caprolactame d'un mélange de réarrangement neutralisé, comprenant une solution de caprolactame dans l'eau et une solution de sulfate d'ammonium dans l'eau. Selon le procédé, on effectue l'extraction au moyen d'un solvant organique dans un agitateur mélangeur, puis on sépare la phase organique obtenue de la phase aqueuse dans un séparateur et on extrait le caprolactame de la phase organique, le solvant organique étant dispersé dans le mélange de réarrangement neutralisé dans l'agitateur mélangeur.
