A process for recovering guanidine salts from diluted and contaminated aqueous solutions is described, wherein the corresponding aqueous solution (diluate) is subjected to electrodialysis and the guanidine salt is concentrated on the concentrate side. The corresponding guanidine salt can thus largely be separated from all contaminants whilst a relatively highly concentrated product is simultaneously obtained.

L'invention concerne un procédé de récupération des sels de guanidine à partir de solutions aqueuses diluées et impures, lequel consiste à soumettre la solution aqueuse (diluat) à une électrodialyse, et à concentrer le sel de guanidine du côté où se forme le concentré. Ainsi, on peut séparer ledit sel de guanidine pratiquement de toutes les impuretés et obtenir simultanément un produit à concentration relativement élevée.
