Abstract: PROCESS FOR REMOVING IRON, CHROMIUM AND VANADIUM FROM PHOSPHORIC ACID A process is provided for purifying phosphoric acid, such as wet process phosphoric acid by extract- ing the impure phosphoric acid with a nonaqueous solvent and contacting the nonaqueous solution of phosphoric acid with a strongly basic anion exchange resin and recovering the purified phosphoric acid by stripping the nonaqueous solution with an aqueous solution.
