In a process for repairing integrated circuits, individual subassemblies or a number of subassemblies are first associated with an additional, identical subassembly; a multiplexer is connected upstream of the subassembly inputs to connect the input bus of each subassembly to the following subassembly; a multiplexer is connected downstream of the subassembly outputs to receive the output bus of each subassembly from the following subassembly; and finally, in the event of a failure of one of the subassemblies, the multiplexers are switched in such a way that the defective subassembly is replaced by the following one, and the following subassembly is replaced by the following one, and so on until the last subassembly is replaced by the additional subassembly.
L'invention concerne un procédé de réparation de circuits intégrés, selon lequel on associe à un composant isolé ou à une pluralité de composants un composant supplémentaire identique; - on monte un multiplexeur en amont des entrées des composants, ce multiplexeur permettant de connecter le bus d'entrée d'un composant au composant suivant; - on monte un multiplexeur en aval des sorties des composants, ce multiplexeur permettant de recevoir du composant suivant le bus de sortie d'un composant. En cas de défaut dans un des composants, les multiplexeurs sont montés de telle façon que le composant défectueux soit remplacé par le suivant, le composant suivant étant remplacé par le suivant et ainsi de suite jusqu'à ce que le dernier composant soit remplacé par le composant supplémentaire.
