An improved means for retreading a solid tire (102) is disclosed. The retreading means comprises wrapping uncured rubber around the periphery of the tire (102), clamping the tire body (102) and uncured rubber assembly in a C mold (203) comprising a tread ring (202) and a sidewall ring (201) and curing the tire.

La présente invention concerne un procédé amélioré de rechapage d'un bandage plein (102). Pour effectuer un tel rechapage, on enveloppe le pourtour du bandage plein (102) d'une gomme non vulcanisée, on prend l'ensemble constitué du corps du bandage plein (102) et de la gomme non vulcanisée et on le serre dans un moule en C (203) comprenant un cercle de chape (202) et une couronne de flanc (201), à la suite de quoi on vulcanise le bandage.
