Process for the preparation of a fine celled open celled rigid polyurethane or urethane-modified polyisocyanurate foam comprising the step of reacting an organic polyisocyanate with a polyfunctional isocyanate-reactive material, wherein the reaction is carried out in the presence of at least one infrared absorbing substance.

Procédé de préparation de mousse rigide à alvéoles ouvertes et fines de polyuréthane ou de polyisocyanurate modifié par uréthane. Il consiste à faire réagir un polyisocyanate organique avec une matière réagissant avec l'isocyanate polyfonctionnel, cette réaction étant effectuée en présence d'au moins une substance absorbant le rayonnement infrarouge.
