The invention concerns a method of compacting anodized metals without using heavy metals. The method is characterized in that: a) in a first step, the anodized metal is brought into contact for a period of between 3 and 30 minutes (for an anodizing layer thickness of 20 µm) with an aqueous solution which has a temperature ranging from 15 to 35 ~C and a pH ranging from 5.0 to 6.5 and contains between 0.1 and 3 g/l lithium ions and between 0.1 and 5 g/l fluoride ions; and b) in a second step, the anodized metal is brought into contact for a period of between 5 and 30 minutes (for an anodizing layer thickness of 20 µm) with water or an aqueous solution of substances which prevent the formation of a sealing coating, the solution having a pH ranging from 5.5 to 8.5 and a temperature ranging from 80 to 100 ~C.
L'invention concerne un procédé de compactage de métaux anodisés, ne faisant pas intervenir de métaux lourds. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que : a) dans une première étape, on met en contact le métal anodisé pendant une période comprise entre 3 et 30 minutes (pour une couche anodisée d'une épaisseur de 20 µm) avec une solution aqueuse dont la température est comprise entre 15 et 35 ·C, dont le pH se situe entre 5,0 et 6,5 et qui contient entre 0,1 et 3 g/l d'ions lithium ainsi que 0,1 à 5 g/l d'ions fluorure; et b) dans une seconde étape, on met en contact le métal anodisé pendant une période comprise entre 5 et 30 minutes (pour une couche anodisée d'une épaisseur de 20 µm) avec de l'eau ou une solution aqueuse de substances empêchant la formation d'un revêtement, la solution ayant une température comprise entre 80 et 100 ·C et un pH se situant entre 5,5 et 8,5.
