ABSTRACT This invention provides a reliable product for use as a sealant to prevent Radon gas entry into buildings. Uranium emits Radon. The presence of Uranium in soil indicates the presence of radon and the potential release of radon as a soil gas. Radon gas impregnates and passes through many substances including soils, concrete and many other porous materials. The presence of Radon gas and the permeability of soils surroundings a community may vary greatly from one community to another. Moisture travels through soils, beneath basement floor levels, and migrates into the air releasing soil gases. These gases accumulate or concentrate when captured; particularly in poorly ventilated buildings. Radon is classed as a chemically inert, noble gas and is of the same family as helium, neon, krypton, xenon, thoron and actinon. One of the most damaging impacts of exposure to high levels of radon gas is that it causes cancer in humans. The development and implementation of reliable protection against Radon soil gas migration, into homes would provide significant health benefits to people living and working in buildings in areas where high levels of Radon soil gas occurs. This sealant's adhesion and bonding ability is superior to any presently on the market. It repels water and insects, is odorless and its elasticity will last for the life-span of any building.
