The invention relates to a method for selectively separating mixed synthetic organic materials such as filled or non-filled polymers and/or copolymers that are wastes, particularly used, for recycling in order to upgrade them. These synthetic organic materials result from the destruction by crushing of automobiles and durable consumer goods that have reached the end of their serviceable lives. Said selective separation method acts by separating these materials with regard to a density threshold selected in a dense medium consisting of separating fluid liquid suspensions composed of powdery particles dispersed in an aqueous phase. These suspensions are stabilized by using a dynamic stabilizing means at a density threshold value selected for causing the selective separation of a determined fraction from the mixture of the used materials to be separated.
L'invention concerne un procédé de séparation sélective de matériaux organiques de synthèse en mélange, tels que des polymères et/ou des copolymères chargés ou non, qui sont des déchets, en particulier usagés, à recycler pour les valoriser, ces matériaux organiques de synthèse étant issus de la destruction par broyage d'automobiles et de biens de consommation durables parvenus en fin de vie, ledit procédé de séparation sélective agissant par séparation de ces matériaux à un seuil de densité choisi dans un milieu dense formé de suspensions liquides séparatives fluides composées de particules pulvérulentes dispersées dans une phase aqueuse, ces suspensions étant stabilisées par la mise en oeuvre d'un moyen dynamique de stabilisation à la valeur seuil de densité choisie pour provoquer la séparation sélective d'une fraction déterminée du mélange des matériaux usagés à séparer.
