A process is disclosed for producing pre-oriented filaments from polyester- based polymer mixtures by spinning polymer mixtures at a drawing-off speed v of at least 2500 m/min, a second amorphous, thermoplastically deformable copolymer with a glass transition temperature of more than 100 ~C being added to the polyester. The process is characterised in that the ratio between the viscosity of the molten copolymer and the viscosity of the molten polyester equals 1:1 to 10:1 (measurement parameters as described), that the amount of copolymer added to the polyesters equals at least 0.05 wt %, that the maximum amount M of copolymer added to the polyester is dependent on the drawing-off speed v and that the value of M is M = [1/1600 . v(m/min) - 0,8].

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de produire des filaments préorientés en mélanges polymères à base de polyester, par filage de ces mélanges polymères à une vitesse d'extraction (v) d'au moins 2500 m/mn. Un second copolymère amorphe, pouvant subir un traitement thermoplastique et dont la température de transition vitreuse est supérieure à 100 ·C est ajouté au polyester. Ce procédé se caractérise en ce que le rapport de la viscosité à chaud du copolymère à la viscosité à chaud du polyester est de 1 : 1 à 1 : 10 (paramètres de mesure tels qu'ils sont décrits). La quantité de copolymère ajoutée au polyester est d'au moins 0,05 % en poids. La quantité (M) maximale de copolymère ajoutée au polyester dépend de la vitesse d'extraction (v) et M correspond à M = [1/1600 . v(m/min) - 0,8] [% en poids].
