Procédé de raccordement de deux câbles à fibres optiques par épissurage, dans lequel on utilise une multiférule en verre présentant d'une part une série de canaux capillaires internes à axes parallèles, débouchant sur les deux faces extrêmes de la multiférule, et d'autre part deux faces extérieures, dites faces de référence; on introduit une colle polymérisable par irradiation aux U.V. dans lesdits canaux; on découpe ladite multiférule en trois tronçons, et on réalise l'épissure par raccordement des deux tronçons extrêmes.
