ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A liquified gas is stored in the presence of an adsorbant material in a chamber provided with at least one discharge-orifice for the distribution of the gas in gaseous form into an environment at a pressure lower than the storage pressure, the adsorbant sup- port being hollow, natural or synthetic capillary fibers, e.g., kapok or polypropylene fibers having an inner diameter and wall thickness of 10 to 35µ and 0.2 to 3µ, respectively.
